Geno Smith ranks No. 29 among NFL quarterbacks for 2026 season

Geno Smith of the New York Jets has been ranked No. 29 in Bleacher Report's NFL quarterback rankings for 2026. Smith's ranking falls into the 'functional performer' category, following a disappointing two-year stretch with high turnover rates. Bleacher Report acknowledges that while Smith has struggled, he maintains physical abilities and accuracy when protected. The Jets have realistic expectations for improvement this season, aiming for more wins than last year and a potential playoff run.
