Geno Smith struggles in training camp as Jets prepare for season

Geno Smith faced difficulties during his training camp with the New York Jets, particularly in a joint practice where he threw three interceptions against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This follows a challenging tenure with the Las Vegas Raiders, where his performance led to the team securing the No. 1 pick and drafting quarterback Fernando Mendoza. Raiders fans are expressing amusement over Smith's continued struggles, reflecting on his poor performance last season. Smith was expected to be a starter for the Jets after being traded from the Raiders, where he was scrutinized for a lack of accountability and an incident with fans. Moving forward, Smith's performance will be critical as the Jets aim to improve their offense this season.
