George Lombard Jr. misses Yankees lineup against the Angels on Monday

The New York Yankees begin a three-game series against the Angels at Anaheim on Monday without rookie shortstop George Lombard Jr. in the lineup. Lombard Jr. remains sidelined due to right knee inflammation and soreness, marking his second consecutive game out of the order. Right-hander Elmer Rodriguez is scheduled to start on the mound for the Yankees, facing Angels right-hander Walbert Urena.
