George MacIntyre plays as backup quarterback in Tennessee win over Furman

Tennessee sophomore quarterback George MacIntyre appeared in the season opener against Furman on September 5, relieving starter Faizon Brandon during the third quarter. MacIntyre completed 5-of-7 passes for 56 yards and one touchdown in his three drives of work. His scoring play was a 22-yard pass to freshman TK Keys that extended the Tennessee lead to 49-3.
