The penalty was upgraded to a drive-through after a race red-flag, dropping him to 14th upon completion. Russell finished the race 13th while his Mercedes teammate, Kimi Antonelli, won and extended his championship lead to 68 points over Russell. The next race will take place in Barcelona next week.
