Georges Mikautadze expresses desire to join Barcelona from Villarreal

Villarreal striker Georges Mikautadze has stated he is ready to move to a major European club, mentioning Barcelona's past interest as particularly flattering. The 26-year-old Georgian international scored 16 goals in his first season with Villarreal but has struggled this campaign, netting five goals in 15 appearances so far. Mikautadze revealed he has long supported Barcelona and is eager to prove himself as a regular starter. Despite interest from the Catalan club, there are no current indications of a renewed pursuit for the striker.
