Georgetown leads Marquette 3-0 in Big East opener

In their Big East opener on September 18, Marquette men’s soccer is currently trailing Georgetown 3-0. Georgetown took an early lead with a goal from Matthew Van Horn in the 17th minute, and Marquette struggled offensively, managing their first shot only in the 68th minute. The Hoyas added two more goals in the 73rd and 78th minutes, with Marquette recording a total of four shots, all after falling behind. Marquette will next compete in the Milwaukee Cup against the Milwaukee Panthers on September 21.
