Georgetown’s Mitchell Baker selected as preseason Big East Offensive Player

With the Big East men’s soccer season set to begin in late August, Georgetown’s Mitchell Baker has been named the preseason Offensive Player of the Year. Baker, who tied for the conference lead in goals last season with 14, is one of only two returning All-Big East First Team players. Eric Howard, also from Georgetown, was selected as the preseason Defensive Player of the Year, while Kyle Durham of Connecticut received the preseason Goalkeeper of the Year nod. The preseason All-Big East team showcases talent from various schools, including multiple players from Georgetown and Seton Hall.
