Georgia Adams leads Hampshire into One-Day Cup knockout stages

Hampshire secured a place in the One-Day Cup knockout stages after captain Georgia Adams hit an unbeaten 106 and took 2-26 against Durham. Her performance powered Hampshire to a nine-wicket victory at Chester-le-Street with more than 12 overs remaining. Elsewhere, Warwickshire moved into third place in the standings following a seven-wicket win over Essex at Edgbaston. Somerset kept their progression hopes alive with a narrow five-run victory against Yorkshire at Headingley despite a middle-order collapse. Defending champions Lancashire registered a fourth consecutive win by overcoming Surrey on the DLS method after rain halted play at Farington. The final group stage fixtures are scheduled for September 6.
