Georgia baseball adds Cooper Walls from Florida Gators via transfer portal

Georgia baseball has secured a commitment from Cooper Walls, a former pitcher for the Florida Gators, joining the Bulldogs for the upcoming season. Walls, who had a challenging tenure at Florida with a 7.17 ERA in 17 appearances, aims to revitalize his career in Athens. Previously, he was recognized as the Big West freshman pitcher of the year at Hawaii, achieving a 3.73 ERA and 45 strikeouts in his freshman season. Walls becomes the second pitcher to commit to Georgia this offseason, following Luke Howe from Long Beach State.
