Georgia defeats Tennessee State 63-3 in college football season opener

The Georgia Bulldogs opened their college football season with a 63-3 victory over Tennessee State at Sanford Stadium. Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton completed 15 of 16 passes for 202 yards and three touchdowns to lead an offense that accumulated 660 total yards. The Bulldogs' rushing attack contributed 272 yards, headlined by running back Nate Frazier who scored three touchdowns on four carries. Fifteen different players recorded at least one reception during the contest, and backup quarterback Ryan Puglisi added a touchdown pass in relief. The Bulldogs now look ahead to a matchup against Western Kentucky on September 12th. Western Kentucky enters that game following a 49-14 loss to Nevada.
