Georgia defeats Western Kentucky 70-20 behind five Gunner Stockton touchdowns

Georgia improved to 2-0 on the season following a 70-20 victory over Western Kentucky on Saturday. Quarterback Gunner Stockton completed 13 of 16 pass attempts for 234 yards and five touchdowns to lead the offense. The Bulldogs established an early lead, scoring 21 points in the first quarter with touchdowns from Ethan Barbour, Chauncey Bowens, and others. Defensively, Georgia forced four turnovers, including two interceptions and two fumbles, to stifle the Western Kentucky attack. Coach Kirby Smart praised the team's fast start but noted a need for improved consistency from depth players who finished the game. The Bulldogs are scheduled to continue their season against Arkansas on September 19th.
