Georgia football adds wide receiver Jamir Dean from Penn State

Georgia football continued its recruiting efforts on June 15 by securing a commitment from Jamir Dean, a four-star wide receiver previously committed to Penn State. Dean announced his decision on X after having pledged to Penn State on May 1. At 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, he is rated as the No. 257 overall prospect and No. 36 wide receiver by the 247Sports Composite. Last season, he recorded 53 catches for 1,141 yards and 16 touchdowns for Alcoa High. Dean joins Georgia as the 15th commitment in their 2027 recruiting class, adding to their recent success in flipping recruits from other programs.
