Georgia freshman DB Justice Fitzpatrick progresses in ACL recovery

Georgia Bulldogs freshman defensive back Justice Fitzpatrick is recovering from an ACL injury sustained during the Florida 5A state high school playoffs in December. Head coach Kirby Smart provided an update, stating that Fitzpatrick has been fully cleared to participate in team meetings and walk-throughs but has not yet engaged in lab tackling. Fitzpatrick, a four-star recruit and younger brother of NFL player Minkah Fitzpatrick, is expected to compete for playing time upon full recovery. The Bulldogs will start the upcoming season with a strong defensive unit, despite several injury concerns.
