Georgia State defeats Kennesaw State 31-17 with 230 rushing yards

Georgia State moved to 2-0 on the season with a 31-17 victory over Kennesaw State at Fifth Third Stadium on September 12. The Panthers utilized a ground attack that generated 230 rushing yards to build a 21-3 lead by halftime. Lanear McCrary Jr. led the rushing effort with 101 yards and one touchdown, while quarterback Cameran Brown added 253 passing yards and a rushing score. Defensively, the Panthers recorded three tackles for loss and one interception. Kennesaw State dropped to 1-1 following the loss. Georgia State travels to face UCF next Saturday, while Kennesaw State prepares for a road game against Tennessee.
