Georgia Tech names Veritiv as first football jersey patch partner

Georgia Tech athletics has entered a multi-year partnership with Atlanta-based Veritiv to serve as the program's inaugural football jersey patch sponsor. The agreement also designates the company as the official sustainability partner of Georgia Tech Athletics. This move follows NCAA Division I cabinet approval effective August 1 that allows commercial logos on game jerseys. The branding will debut on the field during the Yellow Jackets' season opener against Colorado this Thursday at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field. Beyond the patch sponsorship, the deal includes provisions for student-athlete involvement in name, image, and likeness activities alongside various sustainability initiatives focused on waste reduction and resource management. Georgia Tech officials indicated that additional patch partnerships for other athletic programs are expected in the coming months.
