Germany defeats Australia 4-2 with strong performances from Nüsken and Senß

Germany controlled the match against Australia, securing a 4-2 friendly victory in Karlsruhe on October 10, 2026. Sjoeke Nüsken and Elisa Senß played pivotal roles, with Senß providing an assist for a goal while Nüsken scored the final goal in stoppage time. The duo's growing partnership off the pitch, including shared interests in card games, has translated into solid on-field communication. Despite the victory, coach Christian Wück expressed concerns about tactical discipline, particularly after conceding a goal late in the first half. Germany will aim to address these issues in their upcoming match against Japan.
