Gerrard expresses respect for McInnes amid Rangers discussions

In a recent statement, Steven Gerrard expressed admiration for current Rangers manager Derek McInnes, hoping for his success that may negate the need for Gerrard's return to Ibrox. Gerrard highlighted James Tavernier's qualities as a captain, emphasizing his technical leadership. Meanwhile, Rangers look to the future with Lawrence Shankland progressing well from a hamstring injury and expected to return in January. Former player Charlie Adam believes the midfield duo of Dan Neil and Nico Raskin can significantly contribute to the team’s title ambitions.
