Getafe considers signing Sergio Ramos after Dani Carvajal arrival

Summary

Getafe president Angel Torres confirmed discussions about potentially signing Sergio Ramos following recent talks with the defender's representatives. While the club recently secured Dani Carvajal, adding Ramos is not currently their priority. Manager Jose Bordalas is focusing on strengthening the winger position instead, with six center-backs already available. Ramos, 40, remains a free agent after leaving Monterrey in late 2025, and a move to Getafe would allow him to return to Spain and potentially reunite with Carvajal, with whom he enjoyed success at Real Madrid.
