Getafe pursue AS Saint-Étienne midfielder Pierre Ekwah

Getafe is in talks to acquire Pierre Ekwah from AS Saint-Étienne, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri. The 24-year-old midfielder impressed the La Liga side, which finished seventh last season. They are looking to pair Ekwah with newly signed Orel Mangala, who joined on loan from Olympique Lyonnais. Ekwah joined ASSE two years ago and made 29 appearances in the 2024-25 season. He spent the latter half of last season on loan at the Hornets after a dispute with Saint-Étienne's management.
