Giannis Antetokounmpo made his first public appearance after being traded to the Miami Heat from the Milwaukee Bucks. He attended a WNBA game between the Vegas Aces and New York Liberty in Las Vegas on June 23, 2026, alongside his family. The trade, which was finalized on June 22, saw Antetokounmpo join the Heat with the goal of adding to his championship legacy. Although initial buzz surrounded his transition, he was photographed enjoying the game at courtside, supporting WNBA star A’ja Wilson, who is romantically linked to fellow Heat player Bam Adebayo. His trade is part of a larger strategy by the Heat to strengthen their roster around Antetokounmpo and Adebayo, as they aim to regain prominence in the Eastern Conference.
