Giants call up five players after deadline trades on August 4

The San Francisco Giants have added five players to their roster after trading six from their Major League team ahead of their game against the Texas Rangers. Blade Tidwell, Tristan Beck, Carson Seymour, and Reiver Sanmartin join to bolster the pitching staff, while Buddy Kennedy fills the infield position left vacant by Luis Arráez. Tidwell is scheduled to start Tuesday's game. Currently, the Giants are at 25 players on their 26-man roster but plan to add an outfielder soon to replace Heliot Ramos.
