The San Francisco Giants claimed infielder Brett Harris off waivers from the Boston Red Sox on Thursday, Sept. 3. To accommodate the addition, the team transferred right-handed pitcher Keaton Winn to the 60-day injured list. Winn has been unavailable since mid-August due to right elbow neuritis, ending his 2026 season. Harris joins the organization with limited major league experience this season and has been assigned to Triple-A Sacramento.
