Giants cornerback Dru Phillips sidelined with knee sprain

The New York Giants will be without cornerback Dru Phillips due to a knee sprain. Phillips did not practice on Thursday, and head coach John Harbaugh confirmed he will miss time leading up to the team's first preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings on August 15. Phillips, a third-round pick in 2024, has played in all 17 games last season, recording 66 tackles, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery. In his absence, Ar'Darius Washington and Nic Jones are expected to take on larger roles in the secondary.
