Giants cornerback Greg Newsome II thrives in competitive training camp

New York Giants cornerback Greg Newsome II is enjoying a competitive training camp, highlighting the strong performance of the defensive secondary. Newsome, signed to a one-year deal, acknowledges increased competition for spots, particularly from rookie Deonte Banks. Tensions flared during a practice session when quarterback Jaxson Dart taunted Newsome after a touchdown, prompting head coach John Harbaugh's intervention. Both players laughed off the incident afterward. The Giants' defense has been effective, pressuring the offense and making consistent plays on the ball.
