Giants cut kicker Jason Sanders to make room for JuJu Smith-Schuster

The Giants released kicker Jason Sanders on June 2 to add wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to their roster. Sanders, who signed with the Giants on March 10, spent last season recovering from a hip injury. His departure leaves Ben Sauls and rookie Dominic Zvada as the team's kickers. In 2025, Sauls was perfect on all eight field goal attempts. Sanders has a career field goal percentage of 84.6 and was a first-team All-Pro in 2020. His release incurs a $300,000 dead cap hit for the team.
