Giants extend Jon Runyan and Jameis Winston on new contracts

The New York Giants signed offensive lineman Jon Runyan Jr. to a two-year, $22 million contract extension on Sunday. The deal includes $21.5 million in guaranteed money and follows his role as the team's starting left guard since 2024. On the same day, the organization signed backup quarterback Jameis Winston to a two-year, $13 million extension. The front office views Winston as a critical leader for the quarterback room and for the development of Jaxson Dart. Both players were entering the final years of their respective deals with the season opener scheduled for next week.
