Giants' John Harbaugh addresses MetLife Stadium turf questions

During the Giants' mandatory minicamp on June 9, 2026, head coach John Harbaugh faced inquiries about the MetLife Stadium playing surface. The stadium, known for its artificial turf, will temporarily switch to natural grass for 2026 FIFA World Cup events scheduled next month, but will revert to artificial turf afterward. Harbaugh provided non-committal responses, highlighting the positive aspects of the current surface while acknowledging players' continued preference for grass. The debate over the turf has persisted despite ongoing discussions about player safety and performance.
