Giants legend Leonard Marshall endorses John Harbaugh as season opener approaches

Former New York Giants defensive standout Leonard Marshall has publicly endorsed head coach John Harbaugh’s early efforts to rebuild the team’s physical identity. Marshall, who spent his career anchoring the Giants’ defense, praised the team's grueling training camp and the acquisition of new defensive personnel. He highlighted the signings of Tremaine Edmunds and Arvell Reese, noting these moves align with the franchise's historical focus on a dominant front line. Marshall plans to attend the team’s season opener against the Dallas Cowboys in September, as well as an October ceremony honoring the 1986 championship team. Outside of team activities, Marshall recently hosted his third annual Bag the Violence Golf Classic in New Jersey. The event raised approximately $120,000 to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Bag the Violence Foundation.
