Giants place Roy Robertson-Harris on IR, sign two defensive backs

Summary

The New York Giants placed defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris on injured reserve on August 5, 2026, following an Achilles injury sustained during offseason workouts. Initially listed on the physically unable to perform list, his IR designation rules him out for the season. The Giants also waived wide receiver Beaux Collins, who will revert to IR if unclaimed. To fill the roster holes, they signed defensive backs David Long and D.J. James, both of whom have previous NFL experience.
