Giants prepare for roster cuts ahead of deadline on Sunday

Summary

The New York Giants are preparing for difficult roster decisions as they approach the NFL's deadline to finalize 53-man rosters by Sunday at 6:00 p.m. ET. Assistant GM Brandon Brown emphasized the challenges of determining which players will remain as the team has a surplus of talent. With one more preseason game against the Jets on Friday, the Giants have already traded offensive linemen Daniel Faalele and Joshua Ezeudu this week and are coping with the news of Calvin Austin III's season-ending injury. The team may seek trade partners while also looking to bolster their roster from players released by other teams, making these next few days critical for finalizing their squad.
