Giants promote multiple players across MiLB affiliates on June 2

On June 2, all seven San Francisco Giants Minor League Baseball affiliates were in action. The Giants made significant promotions, including shortstop Jhonny Level moving from Low-A San Jose to High-A Eugene, while infielder Jean Carlos Sio was elevated from Eugene to AA Richmond. Two pitchers from Richmond, Joe Whitman and Matt Wilkinson, were promoted to AAA Sacramento. In game action, the AAA Sacramento River Cats lost to the Tacoma Rainiers 6-1, with RHP Blade Tidwell struggling in a five-inning start. The River Cats continue to deal with roster turnover amid numerous promotions.
