Giants select Ahmad Moten Sr. in PFN's early 2027 mock draft
Summary

In Pro Football Network's way-too-early 2027 NFL mock draft, the New York Giants address a significant defensive need by selecting Miami defensive tackle Ahmad Moten Sr. with the 10th overall pick. Despite having a strong pass rush led by Brian Burns, Abdul Carter, and Kayvon Thibodeaux, the Giants' future is uncertain due to Thibodeaux's pending free agency and the previous trade of Dexter Lawrence. Moten's versatility as a three-down defensive tackle could aid both their run defense and pass rush capabilities going forward.
