Giants sign cornerback Nikko Reed from Chargers practice squad

Nikko Reed, a former undrafted free agent with the Chargers, has signed a contract with the Giants after being activated from their practice squad. Reed, 23, made five appearances for the Chargers in 2025 before being placed on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury. He was initially waived by the Chargers and later re-signed to the practice squad in late August 2026. His college career includes stints at Colorado and Oregon, where he recorded significant defensive statistics over four seasons.
