The New York Giants are set to bring in veteran defensive end/outside linebacker Yannick Ngakoue for a workout on October 12. Ngakoue, 31, who was drafted by the Jaguars in 2016, has had a tumultuous recent career, registering just 1.5 sacks in 2024 before being waived by the Ravens and Patriots. After sitting out the 2025 season to recover from a broken ankle sustained in 2023, the Giants are exploring ways to bolster their defense, especially following the departure of Chauncey Golston. Giants head coach John Harbaugh, familiar with Ngakoue from their time in Baltimore, is likely assessing his current status to determine fit in Dennard Wilson’s defense.
