Giants trade Josh Ezeudu to Chiefs for 2028 seventh-round pick

Summary

The New York Giants have traded former third-round pick Josh Ezeudu to the Kansas City Chiefs for a 2028 seventh-round pick. Ezeudu played in 33 games over two seasons with the Giants, starting in 10 contests. Given his uncertain spot on the roster, obtaining a draft pick is a favorable outcome for New York. As the Giants look to improve their performance after a 4-13 season, they have brought in John Harbaugh as head coach. The offensive line is expected to include Andrew Thomas, Jon Runyan, John Michael Schmitz Jr., Francis Mauigoa, and Jermaine Eluemunor for the upcoming season.
