Gideon Gash visits Michigan State, bolsters in-state recruiting efforts

Michigan State hosted 2027 four-star athlete Gideon Gash for an official visit on May 29-30. Gash, a 6-foot-4 standout from Detroit Catholic Central, is a priority target for the Spartans as they look to strengthen their recruiting class. His family ties to the program, including his brother Caleb on the roster, provide Michigan State with a competitive edge. Gash is being recruited primarily as a defensive prospect, but previous interest in his offensive potential remains. Following this visit, Gash plans to tour schools including Alabama and Oklahoma in June.
