Gillingham has secured a two-year deal for midfielder Zane Albarus, set to join the team on July 1. Albarus, 20, has been with Brighton & Hove Albion's academy since 2021 and is eager for his first experience in senior professional football. Gillingham's manager Gareth Ainsworth aims to revamp the squad following a 17th-place finish in League Two last season and has already added James Brophy to the roster.
