Girls golf season concludes for Marion-area athletes at district tournament

The girls golf season wrapped up for Marion-area athletes on September 28 at the Division II district tournament at The Links at Echo Springs. North Union's team placed sixth with a score of 442. Gabby Lindsey tied for 21st with a 105, followed by teammates Lanie Spencer, Delaney Workman, and Lily Hall. Northmor's Hailey Stuff shot a 109, finishing in 25th. Additional fall sports results included Clear Fork shutting out River Valley 4-0 in girls soccer, West Liberty-Salem edging North Union 2-1, and Pleasant narrowly defeating Shelby 3-2 in girls tennis. Ridgedale fell to Columbus Academy 3-2 in a dramatic volleyball match.
