Girls soccer teams record multiple outcomes across Saturday matches

High school girls soccer teams across the region played a series of matches on Saturday, September 12. State College secured a 3-2 victory against Hamburg, which also recorded an 11-0 win over Northumberland Christian. Daniel Boone and Twin Valley played to a 4-4 draw, while Tulpehocken and Minersville also finished their match in a 2-2 tie. Muhlenberg tallied wins against Reading and McCaskey with scores of 9-0 and 2-1, respectively. Additional results included a 4-2 win for Bishop McDevitt over Fleetwood, a 2-1 victory for Brandywine Heights against Lancaster County Christian, and a 1-0 result for Gov. Mifflin over Kennard Dale. Exeter defeated Elizabethtown 2-1, while Berks Catholic and Schuylkill Haven, as well as Wyomissing and Garden Spot, finished their respective games in 1-1 and 2-2 draws.
