Gloucestershire signs Che Simmons on loan from Warwickshire

Gloucestershire has signed fast bowler Che Simmons on loan from Warwickshire for the remainder of the County Championship season. The 22-year-old is expected to participate in the team's final three matches of the year. Following the conclusion of this season, Simmons will transition to a permanent two-year contract starting in 2027. Since making his first-class debut for the Bears in 2024, Simmons has appeared in three matches. Gloucestershire director of cricket Jon Lewis noted that the move is designed to provide the bowler with consistent first-team opportunities. Simmons cited the prospect of playing regular cricket as a primary factor in his decision to change clubs.
