Goalpost collapses on keeper during Colombia second division match

A match between Leones and Atlético FC in Colombia’s second division was interrupted on September 6 after a goal frame collapsed. The incident occurred in the 85th minute as Leones prepared to take a penalty kick with the score at 0-3. The visiting goalkeeper was struck by the crossbar after he had previously made contact with the aluminum structure. Players from both sides assisted in the immediate aftermath of the collapse. Following the incident, the crossbar was reattached to the post and the match continued. There were no reports of long-term injury to the goalkeeper following the impact.
