Golden Knights sign defenseman Juho Piiparinen to entry-level contract

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed first-round pick Juho Piiparinen to a three-year, entry-level contract. General manager Kelly McCrimmon announced the deal on June 15. Piiparinen was selected 29th overall in the 2026 NHL Draft following trades involving Pavel Dorofeyev and other players. He performed well in his draft year with Tappara in the Finnish Liiga and represented Finland at the 2026 World Junior Championship. Piiparinen attended the Golden Knights’ development camp in June and expressed his gratitude for being drafted.
