Golf nonprofit explores future events at Firestone Country Club

The Northern Ohio Golf & Charities Foundation is assessing options for future events at Firestone Country Club, following the PGA Tour's withdrawal of its Champions tour. Executive director Danielle Robertson Thompson indicated that while a major tournament may not return in 2027, they are focusing on 2028. Thompson highlighted the foundation's commitment to charitable contributions, having given $37 million since its inception.
