Gonzaga volleyball prepares for 2026 season opener in Bay Area

The Gonzaga Bulldogs women’s volleyball program begins its 2026 season on Aug. 28 in the Bay Area. Head coach JT Wenger noted Spokane's shift towards becoming a volleyball town, highlighting greater participation in volleyball compared to basketball at local high schools. Last season, Gonzaga posted a significant improvement, with a 13-win increase. The Bulldogs' roster includes three returning seniors and several new players, including a transfer from Wyoming.
