Gonzalo Garcia remains in consideration for Real Madrid's first team

Summary

Gonzalo Garcia, a homegrown striker for Real Madrid, is under consideration to remain on the team despite a diminished role this past season. After a promising performance in the Club World Cup under Xabi Alonso, Garcia struggled to secure minutes as the season progressed. With interest from clubs like Newcastle United, Real Madrid is weighing options, including the potential for a sale. However, they are not prioritizing the signing of a new center-forward, suggesting Garcia might fill that role internally. His future will depend on the coaching staff's view of his potential contribution to the squad.
