Good Good Golf fires CEO and president following controversial advertisement

Good Good Golf dismissed CEO Matt Kendrick and President Joe Flannery on Wednesday following the release of a controversial advertisement. The commercial, which depicted co-founder Garrett Clark shoving former Indiana Hoosiers golfer Alexis Miestowski, drew widespread backlash and led to the termination of the company's partnership with Callaway Golf. While the top two executives were relieved of their duties, Clark remains with the brand as part of the creator team. Nahid Giga, a co-founder and original investor, will serve as interim CEO. The company's apparel has been pulled from retailers like Dick’s Sporting Goods, and the PGA Tour withdrew from sponsoring a joint tournament. Despite the organizational changes, the brand's YouTube channel has continued to grow in subscribers and video views since the advertisement surfaced.
