Gophers football adds seven commitments for 2027 recruiting class

The Gophers football program secured seven new commitments during their Summer Splash official visit weekend. Among the commitments are two defensive backs, two offensive linemen, two defensive linemen, and one receiver. Jordan Walley, a three-star recruit from D'lberville, Mississippi, led the group with his decision to commit, followed by safety Maxwell Miles, who flipped from Michigan. The program now has a total of 23 pledges for its 2027 class, one of the highest in the country. A second Summer Splash weekend is scheduled for mid-June, as the team looks to finalize its recruitment efforts.
