Gotham FC trades Sarah Schupansky to Boston Legacy FC for allocation funds

Gotham FC has traded midfielder Sarah Schupansky to Boston Legacy FC for $50,000 in allocation money and $30,000 in intraleague transfer funds. Schupansky, who joined Gotham FC before the 2025 season, made 49 appearances and contributed one goal and eight assists. She played a key role in Gotham's victories in the 2025 CONCACAF W Champions Cup, 2025 NWSL Championship, and 2026 NWSL Challenge Cup. Gotham FC president of soccer operations Yael Averbuch West stated appreciation for Schupansky's contributions to the team. Schupansky will be available for Boston's matchup against the North Carolina Courage this Saturday.
