Graham Harrell and Wes Kittley nominated for Texas Sports Hall of Fame

Graham Harrell and Wes Kittley are among the nominees for the Texas Sports Hall of Fame's 2027 class, announced on June 2. Harrell, a former Texas Tech quarterback, was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2025. Kittley has led Texas Tech's track and field teams to 20 Big 12 championships and was inducted into the U.S. Track & Field Hall of Fame in 2023. The selection committee will narrow down the list to 20 names, from which six will be chosen, as well as a veterans’ ballot with 12 nominees. The final inductees will be announced later this year.
